MIRROR PROCESSING AND INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
PROCESSING GUIDELINES WHILE WORKING ON THE EDGES
- Maintain a neutral pH balance in the circulating water to minimize alkalinity
- Ensure a constant and ample supply of cooling water for the grinding wheels
- Utilize a soft polishing wheel to mitigate heat generated during polishing.
AFTER COMPLETING EDGEWORK
- Promptly rinse the mirror after edgework and store it in a dry, well-ventilated environment.
- Avoid contact with water and sweat while managing the mirror during transportation.
- Seal the edges securely with neutral oil, paint, or adhesive to ensure durability.
INSTALLATION AND MOUNTING GUIDELINES
GENERAL INFORMATION
- Aluminum mirrors are not suitable for wet environments like bathrooms.
- Ensure ample ventilation by maintaining a 5mm clearance for mirrors under 1m long and 10mm for larger ones. Install multiple mirrors with a 2mm gap between edges. Place the mirror against a clean, dry, and stable wall, free of harmful substances. Avoid direct heat sources to prevent damage. Mount the mirror flatly on a smooth surface to eliminate distortions.
SCREW MOUNTING
- Select screws with appropriate dimensions for secure mounting.
- Prevent direct metal-to-glass contact by using plastic spacers and washers
- Affix the mirror with gentle pressure, avoiding any undue stress.
ADHESIVE MOUNTING
- Use only neutral, alcohol-based silicone for adhesive applications.
- Apply glue or adhesive strips vertically for optimal adhesion.
- Strictly adhere to the manufacturer’s instructions to ensure compatibility and durability.
